Representative McFadyen called the meeting to order. Representatives Pommer, Lambert, and Ferrandino, Joint Budget Committee, provided background to the committee regarding the Long Bill and the Department of Transportation (CDOT) budget. Representative Pommer discussed the Highway Users Tax Fund (HUTF) and funding mechanisms.

Representative McNulty asked for additional information pertaining to vehicle registration fees enacted by Senate Bill 09-108 and projects funded by related revenue. Representative McFadyen asked about transportation revenue forecasting.
