Montgomery of Norwood, Colorado, a resident of the San Miguel-Dolores-San Juan drainage basin, explained that she was appointed to fill the vacancy on the Colorado Water Conservation Board occasioned by the resignation of Bruce T. Whitehead (Attachment C). She described her qualifications and interest in serving on the Colorado Water Conservation Board and responded to questions from the committee about how she plans to balance the interest of consumptive and nonconsumptive water users in Colorado and the need for new water storage projects.
