Representative Waller, prime sponsor, presented House Bill 10-1218 concerning information in the central registry of protection orders. The bill clarifies that the following information about a protection order or subsequent order should be entered into the central registry of protection orders maintained by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation:

the amount of bail, if any;
any conditions of bond set by the court in the case in which the protection order was entered; and
the highest classified crime charged in the case, if any.
