The committee returned to order. Representative McFadyen, prime sponsor of House Bill 10-1113, discussed the merits of the bill. The bill would designate the Colorado State Patrol as the enforcement and permit authority for Colorado's ports of entry (POE). A handout was provided to committee members (Attachment A).
