Representatives Benefield and Massey, prime sponsors, presented House Bill 09-1307, concerning the televising of proceedings of state government, and, in connection therewith, creating the Colorado Channel Authority. Representative Benefield explained the effect of the bill, and Representative Massey discussed the reason for creating the authority. Discussion ensued regarding the funding source for televising the Colorado Channel, and who will govern the authority created by the bill. Discussion followed regarding the appointments to the authority.
