Representative McNulty, prime sponsor, presented House Bill 09-1024, concerning the application of specified audit reporting requirements within the Colorado Local Government Audit Law to certain entities that are not required to comply with the requirements. The committee heard witness testimony on the bill on January 15th, and laid the bill over. Representative McNulty talked about issues pertaining to auditing requirements for housing authorities and explained that prepared amendment L.001 (Attachment B) addressed the concerns of housing authorities.
