Representative McFadyen called the meeting to order. A quorum was present. Representative McFadyen, prime sponsor of House Bill 09-1354, asked the committee to lay over the bill to May 24, 2009. The bill would broaden the requirements of House Bill 09-1149 to require homebuilders to offer prospective buyers of single-family detached residences the opportunity to have the residence's electrical or plumbing system constructed to accommodate renewable energy generation devices, including wind-electric generators.
