Senator Hudak, bill sponsor, provided an overview of SB 09-038. She explained that the bill is a technical clean up of SB 08-206 from the previous session. This bill removes the repeal of the docket fees for county court clerk civil actions. It also clarifies that assessments made to the Displaced Homemakers Fund apply to a declaration of invalidity of marriage, legal separation, or declaratory judgment concerning the status of marriage.
