Representative Judd called the first conference committee on House Bill 09-1137 to order. He described prepared draft report CLHB1137.001 (Attachment A), which amends the rerevised version of the bill. Representative Judd explained that the changes concern funding sources and simplify the role of the Judicial Department. Senator Newell shared additional comments regarding funding. In response to questions from Representative Levy, the committee discussed funding sources.
