Representative Sonnenberg, prime sponsor, explained that House Bill 08-1013 provides a sales tax exemption for items sold by schools, parent or teacher organizations, booster clubs, and other groups or clubs whose primary purpose is to support a school activity. (This bill was first heard by the committee on January 30, 2008.)
