03:28 PM -- House Bill 08-1031

Senator Keller introduced House Bill 08-1031. The bill concerns navigators for individuals with developmental disabilities who are on the waiting list for services. She distributed amendment L.002 (Attachment C) to the committee. The amendment creates a pilot navigator program to be implemented in one or more community centered board regions in the state. The Department of Human Services is required to submit a report on the pilot program to the Joint Budget Committee and to the House and Senate Health and Human Services committees. Senator Keller responded to questions from Senator Schultheis regarding the availability of information for individuals on the waiting list for services.
