Meg Williams, manager of the Adult and Juvenile Justice Assistance, came to the table to discuss the various components of her unit. Ms. Williams discussed the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Board, which advises DCJ and the governor on juvenile justice issues. She talked about a three-year plan developed by the board, including possible grant funding sources for the state to address juvenile justice and delinquency problems. She mentioned the commitment of the unit to improve law enforcement all the way from prevention through after care.
