JUDICIARY
After consideration on the merits, the Committee recommends the following:
HB00-1423 be amended as follows, and as so amended, be referred to the Committee on Appropriations with favorable recommendation:
Amend printed bill, page 1, strike lines 2 through 9.
Page 2, strike lines 1 through 10.
Renumber succeeding sections accordingly.
Page 3, after line 1, insert the following:
"SECTION 2. Appropriation. (1) In addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in the general fund not otherwise appropriated, to the department of revenue, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2000, the sum of four hundred seven thousand nine hundred sixteen dollars ($407,916), or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the implementation of this act.
(2) In addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in the general fund not otherwise appropriated, to the department of public safety, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2000, the sum of forty thousand nine hundred sixty dollars ($40,960), or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the implementation of this act.".
Renumber succeeding section accordingly.
Page 1, line 102, strike "arrest." and substitute "arrest, and making an appropriation in connection therewith.".
SB00-050 be amended as follows, and as so amended, be referred to the Committee on Appropriations with favorable recommendation:
Amend reengrossed bill, page 2, after line 3, insert the following:
"SECTION 2. Appropriation. (1) In addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in the general fund not otherwise appropriated, to the department of human services, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2000, the sum of two million seven hundred eighty-six thousand one hundred ninety dollars ($2,786,190), or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the implementation of this act.
(2) In addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, to the department of public safety, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2000, the sum of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the evaluation of the regimented juvenile training program related to the implementation of this act. Such sum shall be from cash funds exempt received from the department of human services out of the appropriation made in subsection (1) of this section.".
Renumber succeeding section accordingly.
